Heterotroph

Heterotroph (animal or a human) is an organism that obtains food molecules by eating other organisms or substances derived from them. Heterotrophs cannot fix carbon, but can use it for organic growth.  An example of a heterotroph is me, you and even my little nephew Jayden.
